Borgo delle Vigne Agritourism

Discover a truly special place in the Colli Bolognesi

Borgo delle Vigne Agritourism is located in a converted barn, nestled a hilly area rich in history and tradition. The Bolognese composer Ottorino Respighi was one of many visitors who found inspiration in this countryside and he composed his symphonic poem “I Pini di Roma” during his stay here in 1924.

Visitors will soon discover that Borgo delle Vigne is the ideal place for exploring this area, whether walking or cycling along the well worn paths, or enjoying the world famous cuisine of Bologna in our restaurant, paired with superb Gaggioli wines.  Borgo delle Vigne welcomes you for a holiday, a short break or for creating happy memories with friends and family on a day out.
Children can play safely in our gardens and 4 legged friends are always welcome.

History and Wine

The Brentatori, carrying the traditional Brenta, have for centuries transported grapes and must from these hills to the City of Bologna. Generations of farmers and vintners have passed on their love for and knowledge of this area, as testified by the numerous vineyards covering the Colli Bolognesi.

Culture and Wine

Borgo delle Vigne also has a well- stocked library – the Letizia Library–  where our guests are always welcome. Housed in “La Tavernetta” guests can relax here with a good book and a glass of Gaggioli wine.

This is all part of the magic of Borgo delle Vigne agritourism – discover an area rich in history, culture and tradition at just a short distance Bologna.
