ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE

COLOUR: light straw-yellow, with greenish highlights.
BOUQUET: large, complex and persistent with evident fruity and floral notes that give way to a slight minerality.
FLAVOUR: typical, dry, soft, consistent, fresh and tasty at the same time, qualities that give the wine immediate drinkability and long pleasure. The perfect state of happiness!
RECOMMENDED: it can be enjoyed throughout the meal, especially with pasta dishes, soups and tortellini, seafood and white meat. Recommended with antipasti and cheese.
ALCOHOL: 12,5% vol.

WINEMAKING PROGRESS

TYPE OF WINE: Pignoletto Superiore DOCG Colli Bolognesi.
GRAPES: 100% Grechetto Gentile from the hills of Bologna.
PLACE OF PRODUCTION: Zola Predosa – Bologna.
PROCESS: manual vintage, lightly pressed and fermented at controlled temperature (15°C) in stainless steel tanks.
MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: no.
AGEING PERIOD: aging with lees in stainless steel tanks and then in the bottle at least 6 months.

This Pignoletto is obtained from a careful vinification of the Grechetto Gentile grapes produced from the oldest vineyard of the Gaggioli company.
Dedicated to Gino Pellegrini (1941-2014) Artist and set designer of numerous unforgettable films who worked in Hollywood for many years. He wanted to design the label for his favourite wine.
